Free Defib Sessions for Chelmsford Schools

School doesn't have a defib? Buy one from us at cost price!
The survival rate for sudden cardiac arrest out of hospital is currently 10%. Every minute that passes without defibrillation there is a 10% less chance the casualty will survive. Coupled with effective CPR, a defibrillator being close by can greatly increase survival chances.
The HSE recommend that all schools have a defibrillator, however there are many that don't have this life saving piece of equipment and there could be a number of reasons why.
It could be that the cost of buying a defibrillator is off putting with budgets being constantly cut. Maybe the stigma of you need to be trained, or what if something goes wrong is a barrier or it could be the fact that there hasn't been a need for one to date.
We are aiming to break down these barriers and help every school in Chelmsford get a defibrillator.
We offer defibrillators at cost price which can save hundreds of pounds and you could purchase one for as little as £840.00 Excluding VAT. The money doesn't even have to come solely from shrinking budgets, non uniform days are a great way of raising the money or part funding the purchase as are school fetes or other fund raising events such as cake sales etc.
As well as the cost, we are also able to offer schools a free training session for staff in order to build confidence and knowledge that should the worst happen, they could act quickly and effectively until the emergency services arrive to take over.
